The Seabreeze Environmental Landfill in Brazoria County is owned and operated by Waste Connections of Texas and is associated with the company’s Houston area operations. Waste Connections of Texas is a subsidiary of Waste Connections, Inc., which is the third-largest provider of solid waste management services in the United States.
The Seabreeze Environmental Landfill is a Type 1 solid waste facility that is permitted by the TCEQ. The facility has Permit No.MSW-1539A, as well as, all required air permits and storm water discharge permits.
In addition to the landfill operations, the site has a full service recycling facilities that is available to all Brazoria County residents. It takes 40 people to provide these services, 19 work in landfill operations and 21 in the recycling facilities.
